This beautiful rose gold dubbed silver brooch dates from around 1880. The 4.6cm wide brooch contains a total of approx. 3.30 ct old cut or marzarin / French cut diamonds, suggesting even an earlier date of manufacture. Five striking seedless freshwater cultured pearls (large pearl 13.5 mm in diameter) were added later. Likewise, the brooch and hook have been renewed later. The diamond settings are worked à jour on the back. There are a total of 84 diamonds in predominantly lightly toned whiteness with small to noticeable inclusions. This vintage piece is in very good condition.
